Interesting OCD. :-)
But how do you mean get off the balance? Do you fall down? Or you just feel that you are not in balance? I'm interested if you can explain this. Never heard for this before, to be honest. :-)

No, it doesn't make me fall down or anything. It just makes my body feel un-balanced, as if a weight was on the part of my body that they didn't touch.
I know this is odd but it's one of my OCD's. I'm a weird person anyway so I guess it's fitting! LOL :-)

I only wish I was as OCD, or as I see it; smart and organized as bbfeet and her daughter. My only OCD trait is that my house can be a disaster but if the centerpiece on my kitchen table isn't perfectly in the middle, I'll have to fix it and look at it from every angle to make sure it's where I think it's suppose to be, even if it means walking around the table ten times.

Oh my gosh ih4853, it's funny you should say that!! If my bed is not made the first thing in the morning when my feet hit the floor, i can't function. It's like i am so out of wack until that stupid bed is made.

Hi everyone,
We heard many interesting OCD. And some made us laugh. :-) But I'm interested in something else now.
What do you think can they be "cured" by our selfs, or only with help of therapist? Or have you ever tried to "fix" your OCD?

I have tried to ignore the centerpiece on my table but it keeps mocking me until I finally HAVE to fix it. Try telling that to a therapist - no thank you, I enjoy my freedom.

Heheh, nice one. :-)
Well I don't think that the therapist would look you too strangely. :-)

Well, I know oyu're joking but it's only a problem when it becomes a disorder. So long as your centerpiece isn't keeping you from going to work on time, I think you're okay!

Omg the same with me! When someone touches my right arm they have to touch the left. If I rinse off one hand I have to rinse off the other so they both get wet. I also have this wierd thing where I edge my hands around like everywhere in the air until I've "touched every part of the air around me" and its even. My fingers, toes, and thighs also cannot be sticking together, like when I'm laying down the blanket or a pillow must be in between my thighs so they aren't together. I have many other things about my OCD that i just can't explain.
