Well I'm 17 and well you probably know by now , I only have one testicle. I'm not going to get into my history of it , I'm more here to ask if anyone else experiences these side affects ie. lack of muscle gain in gym, shorter than meant to be, little to no facial hair, a young face, lower than average sex drive, no aggression in sports etc. I just wanna know if having on teste can cause any of this or if I am just deformed in all of these ways.

Testosterone has something to do with most of your problems.there are several different ways to increase your testosterone level. Your DR. can request this when he would do a regular blood test, it will tell you if you have a normal amount in your body. If not he may suggest ways to increase it. He can also give you shots of it to raise the level. The hair color, at least in my observation, usually effects when you grow facial hair and need to shave. I was blonde, and I could go up to 3 days without shaving and it not being noticeable til into my mid twenties. There are some dark haired men that will have a 5' o'clock shadow at noon, when they shaved in the morning. I went to school with a guy who had a condition where he was not maturing at a normal rate. I don't remember what it was called, but he saw a doctor and took treatments to try and help correct it. I went to a different school after that, so not sure how things turned out, so there can be a condition that could cause the problems you are describing. You should talk to your Dr. and he can run tests, and let you know what might be causing it. I don't think that having one testicle would have that much of an effect on your entire system. If you see a hematologist he specializes in problems in blood. I have COPD, and have a high red count, but my breathing effects the amount of oxygen in my blood and the red cells carry oxygen throughout your body, and the high count is compensating for the problem. But you should go to the Dr. and have it checked out.

My man!! I had a testicle removed when I was 10 years old. Pretty much before puberty hit me. I'm 6'2", 230 pounds, full beard by the time I was 15, one of the deepest voices of anybody I know, covered in body hair (thankfully not my back), and built like a brick. This is all due to genetics my man. Testicles are only a small part of testosterone developement in the body. Most of that takes place in the pituitary gland, I do believe. With this said, I have wondered if my lack of a testicle on my right side equates to the muscles on my right side being slightly smaller then my left, or if this is just due to my being left-handed?Granted, I don't like sports, never played them. I'm not competitive, or agressive. I don't work out and could care less about a lot of "manly" things. This is all presonal preferences. You're not deformed buddy. Be confident in yourself. You are what you are. The men in my family are big dudes. Worse case senario.... ask a doctor for some hormone injections. Be cool my one sided friend!
