I’m a thirteen-year-old girl. I had an abdomen ultrasound 3 months ago when they found a complex ovarian cyst that measured 34.5 x 26.7mm with thin internal septations on my right ovary. My right ovary was much bigger compared to the left one. The doctor didn’t give me any medications or anything and I was told that it would go away by its own. After that I have had a lot of pain on my right side and then my left side and then my whole lower abdomen, but lately I have been experiencing a lot of bloating, swelling and pressure in the abdomen accompanied with pain. Frequent urination, it smells too, if I hold it for too long and then urinate, my right side hurts a lot. My menstruations are very irregular and painful and last for 2 or 3 days, when normally it lasts for 5 to 6 days. Changes in the bowel movement. Just wanted to know that PCOS means having multiple cysts in the ovary right? But in my case, its just one, can i still have PCOS?
