I had my gall b;adder removed 10 years ago. For the past four years I have had pain at the site. I have been told that "it is possibly an adhesion" and this would require ann other operations. I am unwilling to have this as it is only a "possibility" Are there any other possibly causes of the dull pains which occur frequently?

after 3 years of constant pain , just as if i still had my gall bladder and stone, i am now pain free for, well who knows how long. After seeing a pain consultant he has done a nerve block at 9 in my spine, which wasn't very nice but at least the pain has gone. I am able to tolerate eating food without the pain searing in my right shoulder blade or right side. he seems to think it is nerve damage from the operation. i have felt so frustrated and angry trying to get the doctors to take me seroiusly. i have lost 3 and half stone in 3 years and was getting to my lowest point. i am keeping my fingers crossed

Hi Sandra. my wife has the same pain. She had surgery about three years ago to remove her gaulbladder and right away she started having the same pain that took us to the hospital in the first place. The funny thing about it was her gaulbladder appeard to be fine but they still removed it. Over the past few years I have heard that when it comes to andominal pain many doctors will start with the gaulbladder even if the test do not indicate that the gaulbladder is the problem. The pain is terrible and she has been to the emergency room several times and she checked out fine each time. Well i do have some good new. Just a few days ago we ran across a natural product by the name of arnica pellets. You place five of the pellets under your tounge and let them disolve. You can do this up to three times per day. My wife said that it realy worked for her. Over the past week she said that the pain has gone down to almost nothing. So give them a try and I hope it works for you aswell. I think i paid 6.00 for 100 pellets.
Good luck
