it started as back pain on upper right side... lung xray showed lung was slightly inflated, 2 days later back pain spread over to right side of chest & very enlarged gall bladder was eventually removed after 2 days in e.r..... surgery went well & i feel good except for back pain (upper right )is still there & seems like it is trying to get worse... it hurts to breathe & pain level without darvocet is probavly a 4 maybe 5... i see surgeon this week & after reading similar stories on your site i'm going to ask surgeon to look for a lodged stone that might have been missed, AND i'm going to ask for another lung xray...
did anybody else out there find out the reason for their continued upper back pain after g.b. removal??

include abdominal pain and back pain. Follow up with a gastroenterologist is essential

It is good that you are planning on having further tests done to see what is going on. They should be able to see if there is a leak, an obstruction, or figure what is going on. Best of luck to you and please keep us posted on what they find out. I am sure there are a lot of people out there with similar issues and you will find some great advice here.
