I have been having pain in the back of my head on the right side. Sometimes it is stabbing pains, but that only lasts for a minute or two. Mostly it feels like a migraine headache except it is in the back of my head and not the front. I'm not sure if migraines hurt the back of your head and not the front or if they feel like this. The pain does cause the front of my head to hurt a little, but not much. And it kinda burns in the back of my head. I don't want to go to sleep because it stings inside my head and it is very irritating. I don't know what could be causing this. If anyone has any ideas please get back to me.

you may need glasses if you straning your eyes this can cause head aches but to make sure its nothing more serious go and see you local doctor
