It started back in March when I was 9 1/2 mos pregnant. Myself and the doctors just chalked it up to the contractions causing the pain and pressure in my neck and head. However, only about a month after giving birth, the "attacks" started up again. They are becoming more and more frequent, and OTC medicines are not helping anymore.
It consumes the entire right side of my head. My eye, teeth, and eardrum feel as if they're going to pop right out of my head. My entire scalp aches, and my neck and jaw hurt. It's as if someone has put an airhose in my head and started pumping. I had an episode last night, and when I woke up this morning, it felt as if someone had punched me in the side of my head. It soon subsided, but earlier this afternoon, it hit me again and will not go away (it's been like this for 5 hours now). When the pain's at it's worse, I feel so desperate to make it stop - I can't stop crying and want to literally run my head into the wall.
It's not a migraine - at least not a typical one. I've dealt with those most of my life, and they usually attack my left side, not my right. This is something different, and much more painful.
I've also been experiencing dizzy spells (some to the point I have to hold onto something to stop myself from falling), and mood swings that are no longer controlled by the prozac I've been taking. I started taking the medication believing it was depression that was causing me to have these angry bursts, but the meds aren't helping anymore. When the bursts happen, it's like I'm standing in the middle of time square at rush hour. It's just noise and confusion and I can't focus - I just get angrier and angrier. Then, it's gone a few minutes later. Those are also getting more frequent.

That sounds like a serious sinus issue although I don't know if you've actually been tested for that. I'm not entirely certain what it could be but for the specific pain that you're talking about, it could be a sinus issue. What do you think?
