I have the same symptoms. Pain on my left side when lying and on my back when lying down. I can sleep on my right side better with what feels like a tight chest on left side. I've had it for nearly 24 hours now and had same symptoms about 6 weeks ago. I am 46 years old.

I also experienced the same pain in my left side of my chest. It just happens occasionally, specially when i lay down on my left side. It's a terrifying sharp pain and I can't move I have to breathe little by little until it goes away and I get really scared. It feels I like I'm gonna die. one time it lasted a little longer than other times so I got really scared and I went to the Emergency Room, but they said my heart was perfect. They told me it might be a muscle spasms. They didn't tell me for sure what it was, so I don't know.

I got the same pain in my chest after doing intense workouts for 4 days and I noticed on the second day when I breathe in deeply I get a sharp pain in my chest/back idk what it is cause I felt fine just before all this I believe it's cause of how i pushed myself after not working out for over 5 years and it gets worse when I lay down on my left side and my back. What should I do? I'm 21
