Hey, since i can remember ive had a small white area bump on my as****e. Its white kinda gray. I'm thinking that it is just a pimple. But recently it has swelled up a little bit and its very noticible. This is the first time it has ever been painful. I am 17 and I'm not sexually active.

a forum post on the internet is no substitute for a doctor. It could be a number of things from a blood blister, to COLON CANCER! Get it checked out... oh and for the guy who thinks washing his hands means he can avoid the doctor... good luck, because that's all it is; luck.

hi! i have a very painful pimple kind of thing on the tip of my ass hole and its getting really annoying i couldn't move i cant sit i even took 2 days off from my uni and stayed home whole 2 days i cleaned all the hares around it im washing it with detol with warm water but still its painful and annoying its tip is black and today after bath i checked it was bleeding a bit i really dont like to see a doc in this case and im not even involved in any kind of sexual activities i read all the posts and now feeling a bit comfortable about it but how can i get red of it earlier then 2 or 3 weeks

You shouldn't use dettol or any tissue with perfume, use warm water with a soap like "dove" to clean the area
This is property a perianal hematoma which is very common if you had a diarrhea or a hard stool, the reason why it's painful because the blood did clog in there and now you are in the "healing" process
To speed the healing process try to sit in a way where your heart position is lower than your anus "Use pillows under you" this way your body will absorb the clogged blood faster and avoid sitting on your anus this will only make things wrose, don't even touch that area unless you need to , also keep it clean, use water because wipes are useless if someone did sh*t on your face do you wipe your face or do you wash it with water? same thing goes there.
And most dangerous part is DON'T TRY TO PUSH IT INSIDE YOUR ANUS, This only work for HEMORRHOIDS NOT PERIANAL HEMATOMA, many people mix things and try to push it inside because they did somewhere online that it helps, if you tried to push it inside you will only cause yourself more pain and slower healing process

I have the same problem but I'm a 16 year old female. At first i thought i was on my period, but later figured out i wasnt. I have no idea how to get rid of it, except for to wash myself really good. I really don't want to go to the doctor...so if anyone knows what i can do or knows what it is, i would greatly appreciate it.

I also have been sitting around for long periods in winter
I put it down to these reasons and I'm hoping it will disappear in a week or two
I dont have discharge but i do eat a huge amount of chocolate
so I think my blood sugar level may be sky high and affecting it
this is something else people should check

OK SO HAVE THE SAME THING, ITS LIKE A PEA SIZED BUMP RIGHT ON MY ASS, IT UNCOMFORTABLE TO WIPE AND TO MOVE AROUND BUT NOTHING THAT IS NOT TOLERABLE.... ITS BEEN THERE FOR A DAY AND A HALF AND IT CAME OUT OF NO WHERE, BUT THE THING IS IT DOESNT HURT ALL THE TIME AND FOR THE MOST PART IF IM DOING ACTIVITIES I FORGET ABOUT IT...... I am an 19 year old female, and I have been experiencing constant itching near my anus. I do not have anal sex and I can not figure out what it could be. I shower every day. Stay clean and I always make sure I wipe well. This is actually a little aquard to be posting, but I'm anxious. I can not see it however. But I do know that there are two small bumps there, so far, one right outside my anus, and one just inside. I can not figure out how to get rid of the itching. I need a home remedy!

I thought I would post my experience for anybody interested. I am a 27 year old male, mostly fit, active. Around two weeks ago I had a pretty severe bowl movement and subsequently in the shower I noticed a lump on what felt like my anus. Not protruding through the anus, but sort of right on the edge. Needless to say I was pretty concerned.
At first it wasn't very painful. There was a little discomfort while sitting, but not too bad. By that evening it was hurting a little more. I did some internet searching and decided that I probably had a perianal hematoma. Most information I could find on it said it should get better in 2-4 days. Since self-diagnosis is always a bad idea, I gave myself 4 days for the situation to improve before I would seek out a doctor.
The 2nd - 4th days were a little more painful. I started trying to up my fluid intake and eat food higher in fiber to make bowl movements easier. The movements weren't especially painful, I expected them to be worse. I also stopped wiping with toilet paper, going more for a dab method and then trying to clean off in the shower.
Luckily on the 5th day I could tell that it was starting to get smaller. I decided that this was a good trend and did not seek out a doctor. It has been steadily decreasing in size now and everything is pretty much back to normal.
Now, I'm not at all advocating that a concerned person should not seek out medical help. I'm still not sure exactly what my problem was, perianal hematoma or something else. But I thought my story might be of some benefit to somebody out there.

It is the same with me. I'm an 18 year old male, I'm very fit and active, and heavily involved in sports.
Recently (well yesterday at work) I discovered the same problem. When I move the muscles in that area, or even when I am standing still with butt cheeks clenched, there is quite considerable discomfort.
It is right on the anus opening, on the right hand side, about the size of a pea, and is causing me a bit of concern.
My initial reaction was that it might be a tumour. But for me, so long as it isn't life threatening I am fairly happy to just let it heal.
What does everyone think on these things? I read a post where a Net Doctor said it was like a blood blister, and might take 2-3 weeks to fully heal. I'm hoping thats what this is, yet mine doesn't seem to have any discoloring.

blood blister sounds exactly what i have. I feel straight on my butt with a ton of force and speed then the next day i got that bump.

Hi im 19 and this is very recent ...I get those anus bleeding everytime I get one of those hard bowel movements..and today when I was cleaning my anus I felt this lump out of no where. It hurts when I touch it ..its not hard cuz I can move the inside around skin..I jsut want to know if I'm at risk of anything...and std or whatever diseases I can get from having sex is ruled out cuz I'm a virgin
