Okay so same basic concept as the rest, but I'm not sure if it's the same, because everyone is describing it as a hard bump, and mine feels more like a blister. I don't know it got there either. I was fine one day and the this burn/itching pain came the next day. I had a pain like that before so I didn't make a big deal about it. Come to find out the next day this blister type thing is there. I want to pop it with a needle, but seeing as that I don't know what it is I'm scared to. I have no trace of herpes in my family and I haven't had sex before. One thing I am worried about though is that when I went to this party everyone was using the same toilet, can herpes be passed like that?

I'm just reading about all your anal problems and my only advice is GO TO THE DOCTOR! I had a similar experience... For the past week or so I had an itchy pea size lump which turned into a hard agonisingly sore small grape size lump. I self-diagnosed myself as having a haemorrhoid and I bought some haemorrhoid cream which provided a small amount of relief. 2 days ago I couldn't stand the pain- was finding it hard to sit, walk, cough, sneeze and laugh. So I finally swallowed my pride and went to the doctor where she identified it as being a 'perianal abscess'. She was able to drain it and said if I had left it any longer that I would need surgery! And I only had it for a week!
So my advice is to please see a doctor and get it checked out properly. Dr. Google misdiagnosed me (once again) so you can't look for answers on the net... If I didn't go to the doctor on Sat I'd be sitting in hospital right now!

hi I have a lump near my anus and it gets bigger then it'll pop like a spot it can be very uncomfortable n always I've had it for quite a while now just to scared to get it looked At by a doctor it's about the size of pea but can get bigger then will pop n pus will come out the bleed rather odd thanks for the help

I've been having this same problem near the right side. And it hurts like a b***h I can't sit down can't move can't even sleep right any type of pressure hurts to the point where I flip out. Idk what to do or how to treat it I'm 17 and STD free. Around the outer part I can feel the tissue a little harder then the rest of my skin and near where the pain occurs it swells up alot more but is softer it's about an inch long and is killing me idk what to do If it doesn't go away soon

I note that you SELF-DIAGNOSED it as a hemeroid (no, it does not match the description) and then blame the internet for misdiagnoising you.
The symptoms you describe are NOT a hemroid, and any medical person would have spotted that right away.
A swelling the size of a grape is serious, and even though you caught it when it was only a pea-size, the growth in swelling should have sent you to a doctor immediately, as it tells you that it is growing or getting worse.
Glad to see you used your head and got medical attention. Tell the doc everything...they've heard it all before, guys!

Hi my fiance has the same thing at the moment but he is quite ill with his were not sure wot it is yet but we will soon no as we gunna go up the local AnE cuz hes in terrible pain and looks like he has seen a ghost all day even tho he eats fresh veg daily drinks plenty of water and is active for most of the day.

My scenario is much like idk22's post. I have a small external sore right on the outside of my sphincter. It is not very large at all, in fact, I can barely even feel it at all when I'm washing around the area in the shower. The only time it is discomforting is when I am cleaning up after a poop. Sometimes (more than not) it will open and I will get some blood spots on the toilet paper. I'm concerned about this only because it had been quite a while and still not gone away. I'd say I have had this sore for ups of 6 months and it hasn't gotten any better or worse or increase/decreased in size. I'm guessing it had been trying to heal itself but I keep reopening it when I wipe...? Also, like most of the people commenting, I'm not too thrilled to show my ass hole to a doctor or dermatologist if I don't have to. Anyway, somebody please let me know if this is something I should be concerned about.

Which is what will relieve the pressure by this time I went to ER because puss was noticed on discharge
Antibiotics will cure it right up and if it is already draining
There is no need to lance it as it is draining on its on

i did the same with the search engine and it could be a pile were the anal ring has been damaged and a blood vessel has burst and it will inventualy stop hurting then die down and it may burst but all you then have to do is clean it regularly and it will go away
