Hi I am having the same problems and although I'm not on contraceptives. What was ur final diagnosis ??? Please help me out. I'm really sacred. My age is 20. I did read about shaving with a new razor and andI actually did use a new not so good one... Please please do reply. My sore is white and does not burn on urinating. The sore itself also does not itch. Discharge has increased very slightly and is slightly thicker though white and odorless. :'(

I have the same thing happening and I was diagnosed with folliculitis (infected hair follicles due to shaving) and a yeast infection. I was given oral antibiotics as well as an antibiotic ointment and I'm taking suppositories for the yeast infection. My symptoms came out of nowhere, I noticed it when my boyfriend and I tried to have sex and the inside of my vagina was too sore to even start even though we hadn't had sex in a couple days. I figured I would wait and it would clear up on its own but the next day my labia were swollen and I could feel a lump on my left labia and one beneath the opening of my vagina. I also had an odorless watery discharge that occasionally had white creamy discharge in it too. Turns out they were just infected ingrown hairs and the white sores were side effects of the yeast infection. I was also under a lot of stress when my symptoms started and had a high fever when my vitals were taken at the clinic. Ladies, if you're worried or in pain please go see your doctor! The Internet is only going to scare you.

Hey that is exactly the kind of condition I am in now Mine started around April n even now
N usually the sores itch just when I'm close to my periods ,when I'm discharging, n after periods
Mine can't be sexually related bcuz I'm a virgin never been intimate
So I guess I will have to see a gyno
Didn't think it was that serious

Here is my story that will seem to piece together a lot of others on this post. Before I was even sexually active at the age of 15, I was playing lacrosse, going to the gym, etc, and developed VERY large lumps on the labia minora, towards the back of the entrance, which had white sores that burned and were painful. They were protruding out which blocked the entrance to the vagina, and as well I could feel them at all times when walking and sitting. It felt like a huge golf ball was there. Not only that, but they were surrounded by dark purple spots. I went to the OBGYN and was tested for every STD under the sun and everything came back negative. Nothing helped. I took amoxycillin and antibiotics, a yeast infection cream, etc and literally nothing worked. I had to just wait it out. Then they came back about a year later in the EXACT same spots which is a symptom of herpes since they travel on the same nerves. Test came back negative again. I'm now 19 and it has happened 3 times total, all in the same spots, same pain, same sores. The only difference is I got the dark purple discoloration the first time and then it never happened again. My OBGYN is mind blown, she has no idea what it was, but the only connections I have made is stress, friction (either from sex or working out), or getting sick. The things I have narrowed it down to is a Barth. Cyst, Aphthous Ulcers, bacterial vaginosis, or extreme yeast infection. She never mentioned those other than the yeast infection so I probably should've gotten a second opinion. The only thing that helps is an antibacterial spray for cuts and sores then airing the area out (no thongs or tight pants either) and usually they go away in 3-4 days. I really hope this helps because for four years I have been at a loss and finally don't feel crazy because others have the same symptoms, mine just seemed to be every single one combined. Good luck!

Yesterday morning I woke up and noticed I had trouble walking. Went to pee and when I wiped the pain was so bad. I took a mirror and noticed three white pimple like looking bumps on my left labia minora. My Libia minora is pretty big...natural so the three bumps made one side even more protruding. They were so painful. Peeing wasn't the problem but wiping or dabbing the area hurt a lot. I had to walk with my legs open, it was so painful. I called my doc and immidately asked to see him. After describing what it was, he told he To sit in some salt water and take panadol until it got to see him that day. I did and it helped. Now, before that, the day before I did feel a slight pain down there but I really couldn't pin point exactly where or what part of my vagina hurt but there was a slight irritation. I swore I had herpes. I was sure of it. So I saw him and he examined me.....here is the tricky part. He told he if it was serious it would have been a lot worse by the time I saw him later on that day. He also told me it could either be cystitis or More serious. Anyway he had to go into surgery and I have to go see him tmrow...but he gave me some meds....valtrex (valacyvlovir HCL) 500 mg tablets. augmentin anti biotics. I'm on my 2nd day of the antibiotics. So far slight improvement but I'm scared.

This is, without a doubt, the DUMBEST post I have ever read on any forum. Admittedly, you state it can stay dormant for years, yet then you advise people to just wait until they are married if they don’t want to get infected. So how exactly would that work? Could it be dormant for years and resurface after marriage, or for the first time at ever? Answer: YES. Should everyone with hsv1 NOT get married because it is likely, at some point during the marriage, you will pass that hsv1 (that you probably got as a child, by the way, thru no fault of your own) to your spouse, either orally or genitally? Answer: OF COURSE NOT. You do realize that more people have hsv1 than not?...and that the number of genital hsv1 is steadily increasing and just as, or more prevalent that hsv2? I’m really sorry you got herpes and I have no idea how you acquired it, nor do I care. You have no business calling anyone promiscuous (yes, you misspelled it) or stating and/or implying in any way that it is deserved. Is HIV deserved, you jackass? No, it’s not. It’s not herpes that makes you a horrible person; your attitude, presumptive statements and complete lack of knowledge (i.e. ignorance) make you a horrible person.
