Hello! I am 34 years old female. I used to wear very tight shoes but now I can’t because there is a corn on the top of my second toe finger. It is yellow in color, swollen and hurts like hell. Is there anybody who can tell me something about treating painful corns. Thank you in advance!!!

Hi there! I know what you are going through. I have one at the same place you do. I want to tell you what I do in order to avoid pain. Don’t wear tight shoes anymore, I use a pumice stone to reduce thickness of the corn, silicone pads to alleviate pain, I apply flexitol heel balm, which is used for cracked heels but it helps me with the corn as well. It is important that you don’t use corn plasters, as they can lead to destruction of healthy skin.
