My periods are always on time like clock-work. My period was late for about two days and now i am having very light spotting and very little or no cramping at all.... In the past, my periods have always been heavy with strong to moderate cramps. This is very unusual for me. Since i'm 34 could i be going through perimenapause or could i be pregnant?

Help, I'm 47 and have always had regular periods. Very heavy ones. This month, I'm 3 weeks late, with bad cramps, sharp pains and back pain, and 5 days of very light spotting. Could it be perimenopause or something more serious? Thanks.
