This exact thing happened to me as well. And based on my experience, the best way to deal with it is toasted white bread. Yup, just toasted bread and an apple... that will get your digestion working fine

Ok all you young whipper sanppers, I have been going through this for about a week, severe cramping, bloated, just mucus and spots of blood. Have not had a bowel movement in a week, but I eat everything and anything. I will be 60 here shortly, I don't and can't afford insurance, so Please if anyone has an answer please let me know, at least something I can try before I explode, all that fecal matter has to be somewhere, normally I have a bm 2 to 3 times a day, and a normal one, but not this past week. I'm 9 and I have severe diarrhea. I came up from the basement a few minutes ago and I needed to pass gas, but I was wondering if it was really gas. I farted. I dropped my blanked and graham crackers and ran to the bathroom. This clear stuff was in my undies. Since i am a little girl I usually scream at stuff like this but I jumped out of my panties! So everybody is saying that the clear stuff is muchus produced by ulcers. Not sure about the ulcer part but the muchus part i guess.
