i had abortion two years ago. i didn't feel any symptom of complication at first. few months later i have had a feeling of mild ache in my abdominals and worsens during menestration period. I visited a doctor who diagnose me with postabortion complications. then i had surgical cleaning of my womb (thats what he called it). should I be worried?

The surgical cleaning was likely a D&C or Dilation and Curettage.
They can cause lasting pain and discomfort. Follow up with your surgeon for an examination. I would be concerned enough for an examination.

Thanks alot for your guidance. D&C, yes, is the procedure. I did it last week and the doctor says it will just be ok. I wonder if I should believe that everthing will be just fine ie it wont affect my future pregnancies. OR HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT THEN GO FOR EXAMINATION AS YOU SAY? AND WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS OR CASE SCENARIOS I SHOULD EXPECT ON THE EXAMINATION?
