Post circumcision healing tips

i just got a circumcision a couple of days ago and now my testicles are hurting. what could cause that?

I can see the doctor and nurses now, chuckling as one of them leans on it or squeezes it and saying "he'll wonder why this is hurting when he wakes up".

 

Hi, i was circumsised 6WEEKS ago and still i cant have anything touch my penis head/glans
I am able to salt bath or shower without problems, but this has now got me worried as i should have been back to normal by now?
My overiding fear is i wil be like this forever.
Its not my imagination as ive tried everything to overcome this very uncomfortable problem.
My doctor has arranged a visit to the consultant as he has never known this to happen before.
Any one with similar problem out there?

Of course he didn't mention anything BEFORE he removed yours.

I don't know a guy with a foreskin who doesn't, unless he has taken steps to desensitize it. Many of us have done that. That's a common subject on the forum. If you are trying to protect it, you are prolonging the desensitization process.

Have you tried any of the suggestions here to desensitize it?

I did mine but the difference is after spending time touching and rubbing it, I could always put it's natural covering back over it until the next time I did a touching/rubbing session. You don't have that option, yours is out there all the time. I don't know if the constant irritation slows down the desensitization or not but I've never known a circumcised guy who had much if any sensitivity so I think it WILL happen for you. None of the circumcised kids I used to masturbate with when I was a kid were the least bit sensitive. At first I was shocked when I found they liked to have their head rubbed ------ quite hard.

I greatly appreciate your advice, but as you have mentioned...at the end of the day you can "put yours back", whilst my little fella is open to the elements.

i had my circumsition 1 and a half week ago and i can walk ok and ive desesitised but my stitches r still in so id say 1 and half to 2 weeks but i suppose every 1 is different o and go toilet b4 bed so u dont get any nocturnal erections hope this helps

i like to sit naked, i had it done 3 days ago but it still hurts like hell. it seems to be scabbing which is good or bad?

im a 51 year  old male and earlier this year i noticed my fore skin getting tighter and making love became extremely uncomfortable after a visit to my doctor i was prescribed a cream which i had to apply to my fore skin area after 2 weeks there was no improvement so i returned to my doctor and an appointment was made at the hospital to see a specialist i was told i had a phemosis and the only cure would be circumcision  the thought of some crazy surgeon weilding his scalpel round my genitalia somehow didnt quite appeal to me but after a few stiff pardon the pun brandies and the threat of my wife totally putting a stop to my carnal activities i built up the courage to have it done .i had the surgery done under local anaesthetic the surgeon was not the mad man i expected and after the anaesthetic was administered i didnt feel a thing i even cud joke with the surgeon not to remove my leg by mistake the whole process only took 20 minutes and i was home within a hour of having it done ive had no pain or discomfort and after two weeks of the op its healing well . if there are any men out there with the same problem and are reluctant to have the surgery its nothing to worry about get it done i feel a lot more confident now and so will you all the best ashley .  

If you become fully erect whilst still wearing the compression bandage, such that the glans is overly swelled out in front of the compression bandage and has become dark in colour, it is best to remove the compression bandage to restore normal circulation. Usually, until the compression bandage is removed, normal erections are not possible. Removal of the compression bandage permits your penis to become erect during the night. You probably never realised that you have nocturnal erections 3 to 8 times per night but this is perfectly normal and healthy.

 

Most newly circumcised men find the biggest problem is the night time erections that occur from the time the compression bandage is removed until the sutures are removed. The sutures are stretched during these erections, which can be rather painful. The pain will typically wake you and you will usually immediately soften in response to the pain. You may find it useful to either pull your knees up to your chest or to get out of the bed and stand momentarily while the erection subsides. These night time erections will not cause any damage to your newly circumcised penis, but they are bothersome and the reason most men seek to remove the sutures sooner rather than later. Occasionally, but rarely, a suture may break due to erections. This will normally be no problem even if the wound opens slightly, as the remaining sutures will hold it sufficiently together for healing to continue. Minor bleeding in this situation can be dealt with by firm pressure for up to five minutes. Continued bleeding beyond that requires re-suturing and thus a visit to a medical professional.

Hi Ho! just got circumcised about 5 days ago. Is it normal for my penis to be swollen at the bottom of the head? I mean, it's swelling really bad, and it has somewhat like cuts. I see two cuts, it's not bleeding but it's red. Is it normal?? P.S. to those who're just about to be circumcised or thinking of being circumcised -- It doesn't hurt at all! Well, just the injection and the cutting of the skin. You'll feel a bit of pain but it doesn't hurt that much. When i have an erection it fucknig hurts! i say to my penis '' calm down, calm down, calm the f**k down!! '' haha. thankfully the pain ends there. I can't wait for it to heal and spend a day jacking off. haha. =))))))

I think the swelling is normal --- for you.

We all have different reactions to surgery. When I got a vasectomy my balls swelled up like a grapefruit and turned black and blue. Other guys have almost no reaction at all.

Was there a reason you did it?

hi im 16 i got it done 15 days ago is it ok to masterbate with the stiches on?

hi guys. i got circumsized 11 days ago....The back part of my head gland has been healing very good and the shaft skin and inner foreskin has attached...But now I see the stiches are starting to come out but my front part of the skin has not attached yet... there are areas that attached but quite a lot of the skin has not yet attached.... what happens if the stitches come out and the skin has not attached? i have been quite active the past 4 days, cycling and wearing my clothes like I want to as I have no pain anymore but that might be the reason the healing has been slowed down? any tips on how to get the skin to attach and heal quicker like the back part of my head? maybe putting on bandage again or strapping my penis against my body? thanks guys. 

Hello, I've been circumcised just las t week and my Glans is insensitive also I live in the Philippines however I don't take the traditional method since i'm middle class i took surgical with anastesia.Anyways my dad uses guava extract on me when i take a bath i simply bathe my penis in it plus I use pain killers
