Hello! Had multiple internal h'roids removed Monday... they didn't previously cause me much pain, bleeding or itching and never protruded through the anal opening - but prolapsed down inside the anal wall until they bulged on the outside. Anyway, they are gone now I guess. However following surgery, I now have multiple other internal swellings where there weren't any before - all the blood vessels are bulging and rock hard - including a couple that protrude out. Is this normal? I know its still only 48hrs but I hope the surgery hasn't caused new h'roids.
Other than BMs, I've realised that 95% of my post-op discomfort is coming from these swollen vessels.... not the actual incisions/stitches. Is/was that the same for you?
Thanks

Hi, I'm in the same situation as you i had 3 internal one removed at the beginning of the year and i think i need to go back yet again, this will be my 3rd visit to try and get things fixed. My guess is that everything is swollen and the internal wall is prolapsing, take it very easy, no work at all and lie down. It might take about 4 weeks for everything to go back to normal. Did the doctor say what stage the prolapse was at 1.2.or 3? It will make a BIG difference as to what stage it is at. Mine is at stage 3 and i think i need the PPh surgery but i'm to scared to get it done because of what i've read on this board.
Cheers.
Cheers.
