I am 43 and I have been having this pinkish reddish spotting post period for the past 2 months which occurs on the 8/9th day of the period. It smells bad and causes itching on the vaginal opening due to the discharge which I washed it with salt n vinegar for two days n itching stopped, but spotting,seemed to stop but 9th day we made love n i wasnt that wed and it was painful my husband got all stain that he had to use a condom.Later he felt itchy n discomfort in his outer rim too.this is the second month that happened not ever since,but it got alright with no medication last month.I remember this happened about the same time post period last month too,we don't stay together so we didnt have sex after that.we had yesterday afternoon and it happened,but I felt normal after the act, no pain, no itching , no further discharge till now.So I felt the need to see a doctor but as for now I had been operated for tibia implant removal n not allowed to walk yet so I want your help for both of us.Seems like an infection. But how come post period last month too.By the way I'd done myomectomy on 30th April '15.done ultra sound last July 29th,found a small negligible lump.had to repeat to check regrowth of the uterine fibroid but I had to take care of my implants first so still stuck home.
