Hello. I'm 34 year old female and just recently I had to do a complete blood count examination. It is some kind of every-year-routine in the company where I work and it is completely on their cost.
Never mind, when I got the results they were pretty bad. Doctor told me that I have low level of iron in my blood and also some minerals are reached their minimum.
I should drink some Fe-supplements in future and eat more food with some Potassium in it. To be honest with you, I don’t know anything about this Potassium or about food that contain it!
Can anyone help me with this!?

Hi. I believe I can help and although it sound complicated- it really isn’t. Potassium is second name for Kalium. The name Potassium comes from the word potash because it was first isolated from it.
Potassium is very important mineral that should be imported on daily bases. It has many functions! It assists in muscle contraction and in maintaining fluid and electrolyte balance in body cells.
It is also important in sending nerve impulses and releasing energy from proteins in human body. You should know that biggest amounts of the potassium in the diets came from fruits and vegetables. There is also plenty of it in meat, poultry, and fish!
I hope this helped!
