I have been thinking about going to a reiki treatment. It is said that some of the stars do reiki, including Madonna, I think, so that made me think that it might be worth doing. What I would like to know before trying reiki is whether there are any potential adverse effects of the treatment though? Please share your views with us all!

I do know that reiki treatments tend to cost lots of money, so the theory of "if it doesn't work, I have lost nothing" does not quite ring true - an empty wallet is quite a loss in my book, especially when it is money that I could have spent on thinks I know work like... an actual massage or spa treatment? I don't know... I think reiki is a load of hot air myself.
