As a rule precum does NOT contain sperm, however if a man has recently ejaculated and has intercourse soon after, THEN it is possible for precum to wash extraneous sperm down the urethra.  So although precum does not contain sperm in and of itself, it can be "contaminated" by live sperm IF THEY ARE PRESENT, IN THE URETHRA, FROM AN EARLIER ORGASM (INCLUDING AN EJACULATION).

P.S.   DO NOT RELY 't ON WITHDRAWAL as an effective method of birth control OR AN EFFECTIVE MEANS TO PREVENT THE TRANSMISSION OF SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES.

While I'm on this topic, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE ADDED: ORAL SEX CAN EASILY LEAD TO THE TRANSMISSION OF SEVERAL DIFFERENT STD'S.  Somehow, in recent years the idea that oral sex is "safe" has been bantered about and IT IS PATENTLY ABSURD.  There are a number of STD's that can be passed along via unprotected oral sex, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and others.
