My 28 year old daughter is pregnant with her second child and has been diagnosed with gall bladder problems. She is continually throwing up and keep anything down. she is now about 26 weeks along and spends more time in the hosiptal that at home. Will this affect the delivery or health of the baby which is due the beginning of July?

Sorry - I don't know about the birth. I had gall stones during my second pregnancy and after 12 weeks the attacks did stop but I had a terrible pregnancy as I stopped eating fat and was very poorly due to not being able to fight anything off. Had normal natural delivery though. Had my gall bladder out 6 months after baby born and am now pregnant two years later with 3rd baby.
My question is more about the baby after it is born as we are having various problems with 2nd child ie very delayed speech and some behavioural problems.
Has anyone else come across this after having gall stones and attacks during their pregnancy or is it just a coincidence?
My first child is so different ( a girl though too)
