I am 15 years old (yea i know) and my guy friend and I were hanging out about 2 months ago, and we had unprotected sexual intercourse. At this time, I was not aware he had a girlfriend. I was feeling sick, my breasts were sore and I was dizzy. When I missed my period I went to go get a test and I found out I was pregnant. I need to know how to tell him, and both of our families. Im just really confused honestly.

Hi Forever,

You just have to tell him.  It doesn't sound like you are very close to him any more.  Call him or text him and say "I taken a test and I'm pregnant, call me ASAP"  You can't really do it any other way.

For your parents, get them together if you can.  If you can get the father to come that would help but it's OK if you can't.  Tell them that you need to talk to them.  If you have siblings try to do this when they aren't around.

Then, just tell them.  "Mom, Dad, I've taken a pregnancy test and it came out positive."

They won't stop loving you.  No matter what happens, your parents will love you.  They might be disappointed, a bit upset at first, but that won't last.  Your well being will come first.

Hopefully the father "man's up" and accepts responsibility.  Give him a chance to tell his parents first.  I really think this is the harder part of the experience.  They may blame you - defending their son.  They need to grieve, that's understandable, but they should not take it out on you.

No matter what, keep the conversation serious, don't joke around.  Tell them just the facts.  I took a test and it says I'm pregnant.

Good luck Forever.  You will get through this.  Keep us posted OK?

Sorry to hear that. It won't make things any easier.

Regardless, you have to tell them. IF he kicks you out, tell them that you are going straight to the police station. For one, in most places it is considered a form of child abandonment (yes at 15 you're a child in the eyes of the law - a minor). Social services will likely show up to talk to them. Make sure you tell dad that the investigation won't look favorable at them for abandoning their daughter when in need.

You've got to be tough if dad is going to play hardball. Be prepared to actually do this!

You're growing up fast. Sorry you have to deal with this without strong family support.
