This message is from a successful professional female who is pregnant at 45.  My life until now did not bring the right partners or time to try to conceive.  There is so much negative press and perspectives on being pregnant at this age.  I am scared as to what to expect and if the end result will be negative (Loss of child).  The first time in my live that  I started trying to get pregnant was  43.  I was pregnant within 6 months but lost the child.  It took a while before I wanted to try again but now I have and surprise I am pregnant.  The doctors said it was pretty much impossible.  However, I am not sure if the meant it is impossible to carry the child (no miscarriage) or to get pregnant.  They are sure wrong on the getting pregnant part.  I keep a very healthy lifestyle. Clean eating and staying active.  My AMH was low.  My FSH was normal.  My secret was using ovulation tests to ensure I knew exactly when I was ovulating which was never according to the charts.  Earlier in the year I went for acupuncture  for relaxation and fertility. 

I would welcome any experiences from other women. I want to be excited but I am scared I may lose this child as well. One doctor told me a 95% chance due to "statistics".  My grandmother had her last child at 43 who was very healthy.
