Hey everyone. So I was wondering about these symptoms I've had for almost a year. I'm 17, I have this pressure, sometimes on the top of my head, sometimes in the temples, sometimes in the back of the head, and in my neck. I also feel kinda tired, and run out of energy pretty quickly. Sometimes I get this sometimes sharp, sometimes dull pain on the left side of my head, but it feels like its eye related. Sometimes when I bend my head down the top front of my head hurts a bit. It feels better after I take a shower, or if i rest my head on something. I also feel my head pulsate, but the odd part is, only when I focus on it. If feels like there's just overall tension around my head and even on my face. I don't think these symptoms are really correlated with anxiety though. This symptoms started after I started having anxiety. The thing is, I don't get headaches. Like, my head doesn't hurt at all for the most part, its mostly just pressure and tension, almost like something is pushing me down. I usually worry that the cause of all this is a brain tumor, but the main symptoms are headaches...which I don't get. I can't even remember the last time I threw up, and I don't really have any symptoms that are mutual to a brain tumors. Also I've had this for almost a year, and it hasn't gotten any worse. If anything, its gotten SLIGHTLY better, but its still very annoying. I haven't been to a doctor since I started getting these though, but I have gotten a blood test and everything came back normal. I deal with a lot of stress, being a senior in highschool and such. I also have a girlfriend whom I talk to on the phone quite a lot. I feared that talking on the phone for so long almost everyday could've caused me to develop a tumor, but idk...any thoughts?
Thanks :-)

Hey buddy. I know exactly what you are talking about and I think its 100 percent anxiety. I am almost 30 and I just had a anxiety attack for like 45 seconds, I grabbed a xanax, small dose, walked around my apartment, took big breaths and its over. Showers always calm me down, its just a relaxing feeling that will take your mind off things. About the pulsation I have it in my right almost temporal area, its just were the pulse is. I went to a doctor and got an mri or something and radiologist said all is good. I was worried bc at one point it wasn't a paid but an itch and it would go away if I moved my hair around in that area. About the back pains and shooting pains also anxiety related. I hate this more than anything in life.

Have you looked into electromagnetic sensitivity possibility? Your symptoms are very close to that. Sweden is the leader in research on wireless sensitivity which is rapidly becoming a global problem, but is not really recognized in the U.S. by the medical field or government, perhaps out of ignorance, I don't know. But countries around the world are recognizing this problem and are beginning to take steps to limit the exposure, particularly for young children. Point being, this is a problem and will continue to be until it is recognized for what it is. I have electromagnetic sensitivity (aka EHS/ES/EMF) and experienced numerous health problems until I eliminated the direct exposure. Just a thought, fwiw. I'm not claiming that is the problem but many people are seeing doctors repeatedly and after numerous tests are discovering no "cause." Until they realize the possibility of it being EHS and take steps to minimize exposure. CFL bulbs and other lighting can contribute. Unfortunately, it is everywhere and unless one goes to a city designated wi-fi free in West Virginia it is difficult to escape but there is hope and by eliminating direct exposure is the first step to regaining your health back. Again, I'm not saying that is the problem but intense anxiety, btw, is one of the symptoms. Food for thought and consideration. I wish you well on your search.
