I am 27 years old and I have a history of bladder cancer. I was diagnosed at age 22. It was very superficial, some was removed for biopsy and the rest was cauterized with laser. I have interstitial cystitis which was also diagnosed at the same time. I have been on Elmiron, 200mg., 2xdaily for about 5 years and I had a TAH with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy in November 2007 and have since had problems with my bowels. I was just checked for a bladder infection and the test was negative, but then my urologist sent me for blood work and a urinalysis prior to my cystoscopy on Feb. 19, 2008 and when I did a clean catch, my urine was very dark, almost thick looking, and so cloudy that you couldn't see a thing through it. Also, it had a lot of big white particles floating in it. Is there anything that could be causing this?
