My daughter had a full thickness skin graft on her shin 13 days ago, All around the edge of the graft is now black and the centre area is dark purple. When we returned to the hospital 3 days ago 4 different docters looked at it and decided that it had died off around the edges and they would do another graft and admited her into hospital again , then the surgeon who had done the graft came along and said that it was fine , he told me not to take any noice of the black around the edges and the pain she had was normal and sent her home again. she says the pain on a scale on 1 to 10 its a 5. I am very concerned now and dont know what to do . We are going to see the surgeon in a few days.
