I JUST HAD MY GALLBLADDER TAKEN OUT ON SEPT.22 2006. AND EVERY THING I SEEM TO EAT IS GIVING ME HEARTBURN IS THEIR CERTIAN FOODS I NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM?AND IF SO WHAT WOULD THEY BE?

Well, this is what you need to figure out for yourself. You should take notes on foods that are triggering your discomfort and try to avoid them at least for a little while.

I haven’t had any such problems after having my gallbladder removed but I still continued to eat smaller meals, meals without fat and all the other stuff that used to cause my gallstone attacks. I realized they were more healthy and easier to digestion since digestion may be slower after the gallbladder removal.

As far as I know, there is no evidence that gallbladder removal would cause GERD but if you don’t manage to get rid of the discomfort, I suggest you should tell your doctor.
