Random neck, underarm pain, joint pain, sensitivity to cold

WAS READING EVERYONES POST AND JUST WANTED TO GIVE YOU MY STORY! IM 24 YRS OLD FEMALE AND WHEN I WAS 19 I WAS FEELING REALLY WEIRD AND NO REALLY ONE SYMPTOM. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS THREE THINGS THAT COULD BE WRONG. CANCER,MONO,AIDS! NOT REALLY WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR. SCARED TO DEATH WAITING ON THE TEST. THEY CAME BACK ONE AT A TIME. FIRST ONE CAME BACK NEGATIVE FOR AIDS! SO THEN THEY CALLED AND SAID POSITIVE FOR MONO WHICH WAS IN SOMETHING CALLED EPSTON BAR. IT HAS REALLY PULLED ME DOWN IN PARTS OF MY LIFE. MY FIRST SYMPTOMS WAS PAIN IN NECK AND THEN I HAVE ALOT OF ANXIETY WITH THIS MESS. EVERYDAY AND YEAR HAS NEW SYMPTOMS TO FIND. nOW MY SYMPTOMS ARE SWEATING AT NIGHT BUT NOT ALL THE TIME AND THE UNDERARM TINDERNESS. I ALSO HAVE A LYMPH NODE THAT IS SWOLLEN IN MY NECK THAT HAS NEVER GONE DOWN. IF WE HAVE A NIGHT OF DRINKING, MY DAY IS REALLY HARD THE NEXT DAY. SO MAYBE THIS WILL HELP BUT FROM WHAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED, THIS WILL NEVER GO AWAY.

When I read this post I wanted to cry because I have had the same symptoms as you and the other replys. I have delt with this for nearly ten years. I have had Mono too which is very curious so many of us have. I have also been diagnosed with Cold Urticaria. I typed in a search for armpit pain because I woke up with it and found this forum. I have had constant joint pain everywhere but especially in my hips and jaw. I've had surgery on a finger that would hang. I too have been tested for everything everyone else here has and nothing came up. It's terrible to be in constant pain. I hope since we all are so connected someone is able to figure something out and let the rest of us know. Surely this is connect to the Mono.
