My man has a rash between his balls and leg. Just a small rash that appears to be slightly moist and has an odor to it. what it sounds like to me is a yeast infection. I don't know if he got it from me, I am having no discomfort or itchiness of my own. We have tried cleaning it and applying body powder to keep the area dry but it still seems to get moist and start to smell again.
Any suggestions of products we could put on it?
Obviously if this doesn't clear up by the end of the week we are going to the doctor but we wanted to try and do what we can at home first.

Hi, wash it with a neutral soap then dry with a new towell.

He should change his soap, that's all. It comes from not adequately washing away sweat and oils. Try soap such as Irish Spring. If I use body wash or moisturizing or my GF soap to clean that area it's not effective and that happens. Or if I don't shower for 3 days.

After a shower dry it with a towel and use a hair dryer and dry out the area completely
Then apply gold bond medicated powder, keep doing it after each shower and it will clear up

I tried 5 different ointments including 2 prescriptions. Nothing for 2 months. After I ran out of fancy liquid soap, I used basic soap bar temporarily and rash was gone in 3 days.

This happened to me when I used a new soap, I will go back to my original. Also I think I scrubbed TOO hard with a new plastic loofah. I will switch to a softer material.
