I have been having rashes down arms and hands and face for about 6months now. (small pinpoint bumps) Now my lips are swelling. I recently went to hospital and was admitted because my lip was 3 x's the size. Test run and know answer. Discharged same day. 3 weeks later my lip on one side, upper left, swelled....why is this happening? I have not eaten anything unusual that I can think of. I do have acne and I do drink coffee. Is this any correlation? I took Benadryl and Vitamin C and soon the swelling went down. What should I do?

Hi hopeless. You are not hopeless! It sounds to me like you are allergic to something but you need to figure out what the source is. If you have regularly had rashes then there is something that you are eating or drinking. What you should do is see an allergist so that you two can figure out what's going wrong.
