i have a tendency to rant a bit so this turns into a real lecture i'm afraid:
recently i've had a series of problems downstairs and everyone's been quick to tell me i have a UTI or cystitis or i'm pregnant (despite apparently being on my period i did a pregnancy test which came out negative,furthermore i have googled many a uti aswell as cystitis and i can only check about 1 of the symptoms in each case;i don't really have most of the symptoms like back pain or nausea or LIGHT bleeding)or something.I think i'm on my period,normally i would assume this due to excessively heavy bleeding,also it's "that time of the month" but right now,i'm really concerned as to whether it's not just standard period blood.
In order for you to understand that i am not some naive hypochondriac who thinks she's dying at the first sign of blood i ought really to explain:
Due to the SEVERE,muscle twitching,screaming,wanting to die sort of pain that i understand a lot of women experience with cystitis i had to develop a method of peeing that didn't hurt so i clean everything down there with cold wet compresses (which really are just water and tissue paper),take a couple of pain killers and...well spread my vagina,to put it bluntly,i really really find it helps,with this method peeing burns slightly but doesn't hurt.it's when i've finished peeing that the problem occurs.Today i was so pleased that it didn't hurt at all today that i was prepared to wait to see if i could pee again while in "the position" of my method when i had a tiny muscle spasm which lead to horrendous pain,i mean seriously awful,so i got up to put water on the now burning area to find a large,dark blob of blood in my pee.My period is in it's last day or so and i never experienced a period this heavy.Could this large amount of burning blood be coming from my urinary tract? or are the two things probably unrelated.I also just had my implanon done.has this happened to anyone before,please tell me if there's anything that it might be other thatn a UTI :-(
