i have emphesyma. in 1966-67 i was subjected to car battery acid fumes while i was confined to a small room. this was a long term condition wher e i was confined for 24 hgours on and 24 hours off. at one time the room was filled with visible fumes when i awoke from sleeping and i was coughing heavily for 1/2 to 1 hour afterwards . could ths episode have caused my current condition?
