I was wakeboarding & took a pretty hard fall on my left side in the water. After I got in the boat, I pressed on my left side ribs and felt a little pain. It got worse as the day went on, but never really bad at all. I was thinking more along the lines of a ligament or muscle strain or pull. It has been 5 days & does not seem to be getting better. I worked out today and felt it but was not so bad, just kept my form good. How would I know the difference between a break in a rib or a muscle srain or pull, other than going for an x-ray or CT.
