I would like to run marathon one day. I was good distance runner in my high school. But after that I have find the job and I have stopped running. Now I am back. I am jogging a lot with my wife. I have heard that half marathon is a great test for the big event; marathon. So I am running half marathon soon. Can you tell me anything about it?

Welcome to a half marathon runners. It is the best step to a real marathon. The training for 21K race lasts 3 months. There are four levels of training from beginner to competitive. Of course there is no training adaptable for all. You should find your own rhythm. For the start you can run 15 to 25 miles per week and you can expect to run half marathon for about 2 hours.
