Never do iridotomy. the worst thing that can ever happen to healthy individuals.

What, exactly, makes you say this? My doctor wants to do them on me, but I have been told all my life that my drains are almost closed (this would be bad for eye pressure, hence the iridotomy), but they have never changed or gotten any tighter.
At my last eye exam, I was on meds for BPH, which often lead to a condition known as IFIS or "floppy iris syndrome" since the muscles around the prostate that are relaxed by the meds are the SAME KIND of muscle that composes the iris, and so they are also affected. I believe that the iris can prolapse into the drain, appearing to almost block it.
So, why exactly do you say this?
