Hi.
I've recently had sex with my boyfriend.
Since yesterday, my breasts have been sore and tender.
I'm currently suffering from a UTI and my period
is due somewhere close to the 1st.
I'm terrified I might be pregnant.
Any words of reassurance would be highly appreciated.

I am assuming that if you are so worried this was unprotected sex? cause if you have used a condom/hormonal birth control theres nothing to worry about.
However,
Unprotected sex ALWAYS carries the risk of conception. its always advisable to use a condom. Unprotected sex with full ejaculation carries a one in three chance of conception, depending on where in your cycle you were at the time.
I know you need reassurance right now, but living in false optimism could proove dire in its consequences.
If this sex was less than 72 hours or (3 days) ago, you can still get the emerency contraceptive pill: it can be taken up to 5 days after unprotected sex to effectively protect you against pregnancy. from a local fmaily planning center or your doctors.
If this sex was over this time frame there is little you can do now to prevent anything, exept wait for the 1st and see what your period is like, if it comes, and take further steps.
good luck, I hate to be the bad guy here, but you have to accept the reprecussions of your actions. I truly hope you had used a condom! sorry :S
