Concerned that my scoliosis impacting my health in a severe way. I am 36 and am finding it hard to get around some days. I retain 20 to 30 lbs of fluid all the time in the lower part of my body. Of I'm on my feet at work you can bet by the time I come home my calves will be the size of my thighs and about to explode. I have daily hip pain that never goes away. My only guess is that the fluid pockets I have on the upper and lower part of my spine are where this inflamation is coming from. The hip pain is awful as it radiates around to my sciatic so a wrong turn or step the wrong way I get the nerve pain. This is killing me. I know it can't be good on my heart to retain so much fluid. All and doctor wants to do is give me excersises that I can't do And are to painful or anti inflamitories that don't work. Is there anyone out there that can help me or have better information?
