Hi, My PCP has recently diagnosed me with Seaver Disease. It’s effecting the heal on my left foot. I first noticed the symptoms year ago (feeling pain in that area) but at that time he told me it will go away by itself. But, every time I do any physical exercise (golf, jogging, soccer..), after my foot cools down it tightens up and feels like it's broken and I had to walk with a limp. Currently I’m taking Aleve but still limping every single morning! Does anybody here knows something about it and how to heal it??

My 13 year old son was diagnosed with Seaver Disease year ago. His pediatrician told us it occurs in very active people who participate in a lot of sports (running, basketball, football,…). He also limps almost all the time but we are using Motrin before his every sport event. It helps just as Aleve but it is also only a short term solution. So far we couldn’t find some permanent solution but I hope that we will… So, any help or suggestions that you might discover would be very appreciated.
