My wife is convinced that semen in her rectum causes Constipation. But I have found no evidence of that, so now I seek advise from people actual experiences.

I have heard semen is good for you and is absorbed and promotes lower blood pressure and has anit- depressant effects and can stimulate and nourish the Kunda Gland...
But can it cause CONSTIPATION. I read semen can stay in the rectum for days with no ill effects.

Well I'm here reading this because my husband and I have been ordered no vaginal sex until our baby comes because of my short cervix. I had semen ejaculated for the first time pretty deep inside my rectum. Now I have pretty awful gas pains and I can't poop. But I'm on a medication that makes it hard to poop regularly anyways so I'm not sure if that's why I'm having such bad gas pains. Could possibly be just a mixture of both? Gas pains and constipation is probably from the pregnancy. My personal experience has been that I am able to go more easily after anal.
