HI! My mom started taking Seraqual for schizophrenia, and it doesn’t seem to be working that much. The only thing this drug does to her is make her sleep. As she is taking days off at the moment, most of the time she is spending in the “coma”. Sometimes I think it is for the best considering the stage she is in at the moment. I was wondering how long does it take for Seraqual to start working?

Hi there! Seroquel does have this sleep affect on people. It was the same with my sis. It really does take a lot of time for the drug to start working. My sis gain weight now but that is because she is taking the drug for quite some time now. She used to sleep for ages before.
