I have had really bad periods for about the past 5 months. The pain was so terrible that it almost feels like I am having the 1st stages of labor(contractions),doubling me over and causing me to be basically unable to do anything but be in bed with a heating pad on my stomach. I informed my doctor about this,so he sceduled me an ultrasound to see what was going on. I just found out today that I have a small cyst in my overies and he wants me to have another 1 done in 6 weeks. I am very concerned about this,I mean,getting another 1 done can't be could,can it?? Maybe someone can tell me more about this so I can fully understand what this means and what to expect from having a 2nd ultrasound.
