About august of last year of 2013, I was switching from the birth control shot to the pill. While I was on the pill I encountered a problem. One day after coming home from school I took off my bra and a piece of my skin near my breast fell off. It was oozing out a green liquid and blood. The doctor prescribed me with a prescription called metronidazole. He said it might be the soap or detergent I'm using which caused my skin to fall off. I had to take the medication for a week. Sometime after taking the medication I didn't feel right. My vagina started to get itchy but it was kind of like a scratch for a second and that's it. I didn't think anything of it because I only had one yeast infection and it was like a year or two prior to this. As weeks went by the scratching became more and more. I would scratch so much that I would start bleeding. Sometime in October I noticed that my outter vagina was turning grey. When I scratch, flaky stuff are in my nails. I was attending the E.R and going to my doctor was a OBGYN and he has given me just about every cream and pill their is. He has checked for STDS which came back negative. I'm not sexually active or having sex. He's checked my ph which was normal. He has confirmed that it's an yeast infection. It is now March of 2014 and my problem has yet to be solved he wanted to check for diabetes but I know I don't have that. I don't have the symptoms of diabetes and diabetes doesn't run in my family. I just want to know is any other female going through this and how was your problem resolved because this needs to be fixed?
