If the cramping and spotting continues or you develop additional symptoms, you better see your gyn to see what’s happening.

Hi Manda6002,
As Heidi has already told you after the delivery, because you are open more than before, it is easy to get pregnant again. Women are most likely to forget about this and they don’t use protection while having sex soon after the delivery but that is very wrong unless you are planning another child so soon.
So if you had unprotected sex you know what you should do because symptoms of spotting and abdominal pain are usually symptoms of pregnancy.
If there is no chance that you could be pregnant than you should visit your gynecologist about this matter. Probably nothing serious is in question but it is better to be safe than sorry and your health is very important.
