I had a double hernia surgery and have sense experienced shrinkage. A urologist in SF finally was able to tell me that on some hernias near the penus would entangle the line that sends contant blood flow. After that happens, it's like a nerve...genetally it will never get better. And he gave me a number that 1 in 5 men with lower hernias experience this!

It is possible the doctors administered a strong muscle relaxant drug without your knowledge. If you had a needle in your lower back that could have been it. I angered a Neurologist during a common test and he did this to me. I was stuck on a catheter for a month until the drug finally wore off.

I had the exact same thing happen after acl surgery. I noticed it immediately after surgery...and it's lost its girth,especially when I sit...it's been a year exactly..

I had the same issue a year ago this month. Immediately (the same day)of my back surgery, I noticed when I sat down,my penis would go up inside me...so when I looked at it, it was micro looking. I lost 70%girth...and it hasn't changed...and urologist thinks I'm crazy..and I've seen three of them. Thanks for the post

I'm 44 and just had spinal fusion. I've lost about an inch but I have no girth. Have you found anything that helps? I'm looking into a hydropump to help with the girth but i do not know if the inch I lost will come back.

You should change with him...be creative.
To all others, doctors are lying about weight, ect.
Likely that tendons were sewn into to sew mesh or bowel is free to weigh on pelvis. Home remedies are best to return to what you had, but probably won't work. I had ab hernia, lapro repair. I pee like a girl now. In VA erectile dysfunction often is subsequent to hernia surgery.

Sue for the Dr. To fix it or pay a malpractice suit. I'm not a guy but couldn't imagine. What it would have on ones self esteem. Get busy or your stuck. No real name.

Yes I have a few seniour men that I no have the same thoughts ,they say it ruined their marrige and their penus is like you said you have to try and fined it it shrink to just seeing the head of the penus 1/2: and they have attents to take their ljves so they are depressed so it is a big problem ,Richard

I lost 2inch length, girth is smaller as well , but I had acl surgery. The difference was notified as soon as I woke from surgery! And has been the same ever since ( Over 3 years ago) I've tried pumps, pills extenders... Nothing changes the outcome..It's messed me up mentally so bad, that I won't have sex...So all I do is read read and read.. prostate cancer and hernia surgery seem to be more problematic...I'm starting to wonder if it's more of the catheter being used more than any other common denominator.... thanks

I have also had penile shrinkage as what I believe to be a direct result of laparoscopic hernia repair with mesh in 2009. What a terrible consequence that I was never made aware of prior to surgery nor during post surgery follow ups. For several years after the surgery boils formed around the incision area and they smelled very badly if ruptured. To this day I still feel a good deal of pain deep in my abdomen and in my left testicle. Sometimes it interferes with my ability to walk even.

Hi to all

I also had a double hernia repair on my groin, however did not loose any length size but notice that my groin area I gain a lot of fat. Maybe because it took me almost 4 yrs after surgery to not feel any discomfort while exercising and losing a lot of weight. 20 lbs in 1 year to be exact. However I gained a six pack but the fat still in the groin and found out their lipo for that.

The second issued that does bother is whenever I'm in a sitting position or bend over to pick up anything my penis retracts. It could be flaccid or erect and doesn't hang heavy as it just to prior to the surgery. I tried stretching exercise to maintain it hanging. I just want to hang out heavy like it just too.

I did see a video on youtube there's a doctor in california who does the lipo to get rid of the fat on the groin make it completely flat and also inject fat into the mens penis giving it the thicker fuller look and more hanging penis look that every men probably desires.

So my suggestion would be go see
a plastic surgeon. That's the only way to go to see if there are options that could help with your problems and God bless to all and good luck.

You know I am with you on this because my penis has gotten smaller after I have had my belly button hernia repair surgery and my left and right side hernia repair surgery and this is because of the surgery and these doctors need to know that this is happening to men that have hernia repair surgery!!!! I don’t care
