I had a hernia surgery twice the 1st time I had no problems but 6 yrs later the hernia returned and a different Dr repaired it this time I could see my penis was 2-3" shorter not erect and semi hard when erect but have issues getting there. Dr said I needed to lose some weight but due to needing a hip replacement I haven't been able to be active enough to lose any and am now waiting to have my other hip replaced. So I'm looking at losing weight in 2023. But it is very frustrating

My wife had vaginally cancer and hence no intercourse! My penis never was more than 5.0 but due to some of my surgery and my devotion to wife , I rarely masturbate and started wearing panties hence as doc says, " use it to increase blood flow or lose it!" 3 years ago mine was officially termed a micro penis! Wife and I talked about things we can do sexual and so I have done some things to help mine become smaller! Wife's quote is," clits belong in panties!" I am her masculine husband but sexually we are both females! It works for us! I love the lady in my life! I would never have an affair and she assured me if she was able to have intercourse; well everything sexual would be with me only!

THIS NEEDS TO BE THE VERY FIRST WARNING TO PATIENTS WHO ARE NOT WELL ENDOWED!!

I was average size before abd have lost 50% in length, it seems more buried at the base and I also have curve I never had before the surgery.

THey call it "practicing medicine" for a reason.  They'll let any monkey cut on you and NOT tell when something goes wrong "Swelling is to be expected. Give it time it will heal"  Evil baboons.

I so strongly agree with you. We have hard evidence my moms oncologist surgeon left a tumor in her when they did a surgery to remove them. We’ve had other doctors tell us they see where he neglected to live one or missed it. But they also stated they would not testify against another doctor. We searched 8 states for a doctor for 2 years and never found one. Now my mom recently passed from stage four cancer from that area and it’s past the statute of limitation s.

So I am not crazy! I have lost size (length and girth) both flaccid and erect- when I can get erect because I have lost a lot of that as well. This happened after inguinal hernia surgery about two years ago. Not only that, but my left testicle was drastically pulled "up" (ascended?). I have a mesh... can that be restricting bloodflow?

At the time of my vasectomy, my penis was just over 8 inches hard, and 5 inches flaccid. Within a year of the vasectomy, I noticed that my penis looked smaller. I measured it and it was 3/8 inch smaller. Since then, my penis shrinkage continued, first at a slow pace, and then a bit more quickly. Today, my penis is 4 inches hard, and 7/8 inch flaccid. It has been years since I could get hard with visual stimulation. It now takes a lot of work and fantasization to get myself hard.

Losing 4 inches has hit me hard. It is interesting how much of my view of myself as a man is tied up in my penis size. A 4 inch erection and a "hanging" flaccid length of only 7/8 of an inch does not likely not turn a woman on sexually. My wife says she doesn't mind, but I'm sure she's just being nice. She says she has to admit it is "tiny". I mean she's not wrong. But she also says it looks "cute". She's trying to make me feel good.

I'm trying to own my 4 inch penis, because it is what it is. My other choice is to be angry. But I worry a lot about divorce. Ongoing sexual frustration is often a cause for divorce. So I wonder how much of this "cute" penis my wife will be able to put up with. And also, even worse, my penis is continuing to slowly shrink. In maybe four years I would not be surprised if it is down to 3 inches.

If anyone out there is considering a vasectomy, or is the wife of a husband considering it, please consider running away from your urologist unless he or she is willing to have an honest discussion about severe penis size loss. My urologist pooh-poohed it. It was going to be a quick procedure with few side effects except temporary localized pain. All the other possible severe effects from the procedure were not mentioned. And undoubtedly, should you ask, the urologist will tell you that severe penis size loss can never be caused by by the side effects of a vasectomy.

Take care and best of luck.

Exact problem, inguinnal hernia surgery mesh placed over left side genitofemoral nerve caused meshoma , had to get the mesh removed groin reconstruction, pains to left testicular. This happened from 36 to 43 I've gone from 6 inch soft, to 1 inch, hard well it's hard to even get hard. Used to be 9 inchs hard lucky to see even 4 now.

There is so many people in here same complication but no answers I am from Australia. I suggest you look up Dr Garvey in Australia Sydney he is currently doing a full mesh review and is a well know groin sports injury surgeon he is against mesh due to the complications. The number of cases just here alone is enough to turn the ideology around it takes one Doctor with a full research .. Class world wide action...

My wife don't even bother with me no more so yeah feels real funking great.
