Last year I had an experience that has left me worried and perplexed. I have done lots of research and have not been able to find an answer so hopefully someone here may be able to help. I had been having pain in the center of my chest that came on suddenly and progressed rapidly. After roughly an hour I had DH rush me to emergency where I was given a wheelchair and parked in the (empty) waiting room. The pain was intense and caused me to dry heave. During this time I felt a "pop" in my chest and a bubble travel down my spine (from upper back to lower). After this happened I felt immediate relief. Hours later I was sent home with the diagnosis if GERD or possible ulcer?. Has anyone here had these symptoms before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
