Like it seems, a lot of children get diagnosed with ADHD these days. I am wondering whether it is true that there is an ADHD "epidemic" or whether ADHD is a fashion disease. Anyway, my youngest son was having some problems with other children at preschool, and they wanted him to have an evaluation. Now, my son was diagnosed with ADHD. yeah... right! Like I said, I am not too sure about this. They want to prescribe guanfacine to him. But before I even consider this, I want to know a LOT MORE about guanfacine. Like, what are the side effects, both short term and long term.
