I had taken my 25mg xr Adderall one day at probably 8 am. I drank around 9 or 10 pm and all that happened is I was wasted (or thought I was) probably a beer into drinking. I don't know if that is directly from that or what, but that never happens. After I started drinking I realized that I had taken my meds that day and was scared to death so that probably made me pay attention to it even more. I've stopped drinking and I recommend to never do that. If you are prescribed Adderall, take it daily and don't go on and off because it's awful for your heart and please don't drink. Nothing positive can come of it, I was really lucky that mine was probably already worn off by the time I started.

I weigh 120, ended up being on 40 mg of Adderall XR and drank. I have a extremely high tolerance to just about everything for some reason. I can drink half a liter of capt morgans when my tolerance is at it's lowest, always have been like that. Adderall actually makes me just not care about drinking. But when I do drink on Adderall XR, I'm more full too so I never end up drinking that much. Still, I've never had the problems most people on here have had. Never got sick, never even had a hang over.

oh yea and now I'm on 10 mg of adderall xr since I'm not in college right now. Doesnt do anything but give me a limp penis after 8 hours on it. 20 mg makes me slightly organized... I took two pill the other day and I'm not used to my room being so clean lol. But I drank idk 3-4 shots last night and a beer. Normally I'd feel slightly buzzed, very slightly specially since I drunk it all in 20 minutes. But I didn't get anything. Just a full stomach and smelly breath. No hang over today. So for me, Adderall doesn't make any different that I can tell other than making my tolerance go up a little.

Okay So I Know I'm Late But I Was Just Now Reading These Posts And I Figured I Might As Well Share My Experiences Of Drinking while On Adderal
My First Experiences Were Perfectly Normal. I Was Even Drinking Outrageous Mixes Of Alcohol (Kahlua, Cuervo, Tequila, Wine, And A Couple Others All In A Cup.) And I Never Had A Problem. I Believe I Was On 20 mgs Of Adderal At The Time.. However One Night I Did The Same Exact Thing With A Friend And Could Not Handle It At ALL I Ended Up Throwing Up All Over The Place, Fighting Off My Friend, Who Was Trying To Help Me, And Crying For Help To My Mother Because I Thought I Was Dying. Then I Blacked Out, And Apparently The Fire Squad Had Came To My House, But It Was Nothing Serious They Just Sat Around And Laughed At Me For How I Was Acting. I Woke Up The Next Morning At 7 A.M Which Is Weird Cause All Of This Occurred At Around 3 A.M And I Felt Fine, No Hangover Or Anything !

So In My Opinion I Do Not Believe That Mixing Adderal With Alcohol Is Such A Bad Thing, Just As Long As You Eat Before You Consume It And Dont Mix Alcohol With Alcohol With Alcohol And So On Into One Cup.

As alcohol and adderall are both mind altering substances, it is difficult to gauge how you will be affected when taking both simultaneously.
While it is not impossible for interactions between the two to occur, adderall and alcohol are not synergistic drugs and therefor will not be as dangerous a combination as, say, alcohol with sleeping pills, or adderall with crack.
However, there are still some things that you should keep in mind:
-Adderall will make alcohol affect you quicker, as you have a higher heart rate, etc.
-You may feel more alert and may be able to drink more, which your body will have a harder time processing in the end.
-Adderall will not only dehydrate you, but will make you even more likely to forget to drink water down the line.
-You have taken adderall, so chances are you have not had anything to eat in a while. Also, chances are that you will not be seeking anything to eat any time soon either.
I would guess that these are the reasons why some people have a bad reaction when mixing the two.

Last weekend I went to a friend's xmas party. I take 30 mg Adderall (10 mg three times daily). I drank and felt fine for most of the night, until about 2:00 am. I began vomiting blood and eventually had to call 911 and be transported to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. It was awful. If you choose to drink while taking this medication please do it in moderation. You'll feel great and not realize that your body is in trouble. I had to find this out the hard way. I was just trolling around about Adderall just curious what some people have taken recreationally in a 24 period. But reading some of your posts, I can tell how young you are (and peer pressure's a b*tch). Being careful and asking questions is a good thing. I'm not a big drug user (actually think I don't metabolize them all that well) and don't really care for the effects of weed either anymore, but I'll use Adderall a couple of times a year for "fun."
When I was at Ozzfest 2007, I had brought quite a few with me and before I really realized what I had taken, they were gone. 240 mg within 24 hours and drank about a 12 pack. As I type this, I've taken 150 mg in the last day and have had a few beers so far. The only concern I have that was brought up by a wise poster above, is that you can misjudge your sobriety level. Your reflexes and conversation skills seem heightened, but your brain is definitely impaired....it will catch up to you, so be careful not to drink like a fish thinking you're okay to drive or something.
Of course, I am not a doctor and different drugs can react differently with different people...mixing especially. But moderate alcohol isn't really so bad mixed with any one drug. Check out the stuff in River Phoenix's blood stream when he OD'd (final thing that put him over the edge, ironically enough, was "Persian Brown," which is actually top quality heroin laced with Adderall)...all that plus he was drinking at Johnny Depp's night club.
Don't let the pamphlets scare you too much. In 99.9% of cases, Phizer's just covering their ass.

Hey guys I have been perscribed adderal for a few days now and I dont drink until about 4 hours after and it is just like im not taking it. Just wouldent do them at the same time. What I think is worse is that I took my dose and drand an energy drink about and hr and a half after and ive been racing and wide awake ever since. Its 408 in the morning and i took about a half of an energy drink at about 130 and i cant come close to falling asleep. It all depends on the person I guess.

made the mistake of drinking 2 1/2 shots of Pear Absolute Vodka, ate several pieces of dark Godiva chocolate and felt so relaxed- climbed in
my bed- then a couple hours later, it hit me......I experienced extreme dizziness, got really really cold was shaking, nauseated, my eye lids were
red, sore and dry and I felt my throat swell a little and my nose was bleeding- it was awful I felt as if I were in an alternate existence almost
comatose, I just stayed in my bed(luckily no kids to worry about). Today, I am still dizzy, couldn't get out of bed until 2 p.m. and I literally
did not sleep at all. I have the worst head ache I've had in my life and my nose is still bloody. So, if u are thin, don't drink often and are taking a
high dose of Adderall, DON'T DRINK please. I am not even going to make it to class tonight cause I'm not able to drive- bad bad bad

I take adderrall xr daily,last night I drank 4 out of a six pack of beer. I went to sleep around midnight feeling fine. Around 1am I woke with hot flashes and chills and stomach cramps. I went to sit on the toilet and started shaking and that's all I remember. Around 230am my husband found me on the bathroom floor with a busted nose and knot on my head. He asked If I was ok I said I need a trash can! It is 630pm the next day and am still shaking and throwing up.

Hey i honestly take adderall as a recreational drug and drink frequently. I rail about 30mg and drink like 15 drinks over a whole night (like 4 hours) and i love the feeling. I always end up getting hurt though. Some examples are falling down stairs and getting thrown off a patio and landing on my neck. I have only gotten two concussions in my life and both of them were while doing this, but they were also two of the best times of my life haha

I was completely drunk and my friend tried to help keep me stay awake and she gave me two aderall pills....i blacked out and didn't know what went on until people told me what i did, and i couldn't believe the things that happened, everybody i was around that night thought i was dead and couldn't get through to me, i woke up feeling horrible and was depressed for a while. Now, i get a headache everyday, my body aches, and my female reproductive organ hurts and itches....its terrible ! I advise everyone not to do it !

I wouldn't suggest it. I took 2 30mg adderall pills last night at the same time I was out with my friends drinking, probably had about 10 beers, felt great, had an awesome night, but when i got home i couldnt sleep and it was already 8 am so i took a zolpidem to go to sleep. woke up in about 2 or 3 hours vomiting and felt like sh*t all day. hardly even wanted to eat. Im not lightweight either. just my advice would be to take them on separate nights, because they dont mix well afterwords.
