Hi, I am 34 years old women. I am worried. I have three cases of skin cancer in my family. Last week I went to visit my cousin who has skin cancer in hospital. I have a lot of moles on my body. How can I know when some of them start to cause the cancer?

First you should know is that it is treatable if discovered in early phases. It is the best to undertake self examination every six months. It doesn't take much time and it can save your life. You should pay attention of every change that may occur in your moles. Especially you should look for asymmetry, border irregularity, color change and diameter larger then 5 mm. If you notice any kinds of change go to a doctor immediately.
